Baja California

Baja California is the northern most Statea of Mexico; it is mostly located on the northern half of the Baja California peninsula, referred to as Baja Norte. Baja California Norte is bordered on the north by the United States, the west Baja California by the Pacific Ocean and the east by the Sea of Cortez. Baja California Norte Mexico’s 29th State has a population close to 3 million people. The Baja California peninsula is divided into two states to the North is Baja California Norte and to the South Baja California Sur. Baja Norte is much more populated than Baja Califonia Sur, mainly due to Baja’s proximety to the United States. The Baja Peninsula is 781 miles long making Baja California one of the largest Peninsulas in the world. Baja California is a large state with climate that varies from one city to another. In general, the seasons are clearly marked, fall is fresh, winter is cool, and spring and summer are sunny and warm. Baja California’s main source of income is agriculture, fishing, tourism and manufacturing.
